Swalec Division Two North. Match Report Saturday 23rd April 2016
Harlech 22 - Fflint 7
Harlech Showed off Fflint in style to end the season on a high note
Harlech RFC secured a thrilling bonus point victory against Fflint in Swalec division two north. The Castle men was eager to complete the double over Fflint having previously notched a 17-12 victory at Fflint earlier in the season and in today's game it did not take long for the castle men to open the scoring from a converted Alex Evans try but his converted try was to prove to be the only points of the a first half for an interval score of Harlech 7 - Fflint 0.
However the first points of the second half was a coverted try by Tom Prydderch but soon afterwards the Castle men replied with an unconverted Llion Kerry try and as Fflint finally tired the Castle men scored two further unconverted tries by Arfon Pugh and Aeron Griffiths but it was the Castle men who secured the bonus points to finish off their season in style.
All the players and backroom staff would like to thank Mr Bennet Richards for all his hard work while coaching Harlech over the last six years and wish him the best of luck in the future.
