Harlech RFC narrowly just missed out on a place in the Gwynedd Cup semi final as Pwllheli Second held on to secure a tense 20-15 Victory at Parc Bodegroes, and it was the home side that scored the first points of the game with an unconverted try by Arwel Thomas. Then Pwllheli Seconds gained a further converted try's by Aled Roberts to leave an interval score of Pwllheli Seconds 12 - Harlech 0 .
It was also the visitors who scored the first points in the second Half from an unconverted Cedri Williams try but soon afterwards Pwllheli Seconds replied with a successful penalty kick from Alan Roberts. However this spurred the visitors into life and they scored two further unconverted tries from Gorwel Rodgers and Alex Evans to make it a nervy last few minutes for Pwllheli Seconds. But it was Pwllheli Seconds who had the last say with an unconverted Alan Roberts try to leave a fulltime score line of Pwllheli Seconds 20 - Harlech 15.
Meanwhile this Saturday 23 April 2016 the Cattlemen will bring down the curtain on a very long hard season with a home Swalec Division Two North game against Fflint with a 14-30 kick off.
