Harlech v Flint Match Report 8th Oct 2016

Flint RFC were hosts to Harlech in the second round of the intermediate Bowl. Harlech were first to score with a try by number 8 Sion Rees and conversion by second row Ewart Williams. Harlech were leading by 12 points to 0 half time when a second try came from Flanker Llion Kerry after some impressive mauling from the 22. However, the tides changed in the second half with two converted tries by Flint, one scored by Jamie Elder and the second by Jake Shill, both converted by Sam Parry. However, 2 points behind- Ewart Williams successfully converted a penalty kick bringing the visitors ahead by one point. Some nerve racking play came right up until the end of the game, when Harlech conceded a penalty which was impressively kicked successfully by Sam Parry ending the game with a score of Flint 17- harlech 15.
